Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Forest Phantom Satin Chitarra Elettrica

Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Forest Phantom Satin — Modern Performance, Reimagined

The Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Forest Phantom Satin is a complete reimagining of the classic single-cut silhouette, engineered for players who demand speed, precision, and tonal authority. Built around an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body with a maple cap and figured flame maple veneer, it keeps the Les Paul outline players know while reshaping it for modern high-gain performance. Satin finish, black hardware, and dark mother-of-pearl block inlays deliver a stealth, stage-ready aesthetic.

What Sets the Prophecy Les Paul Apart

Two design choices distinguish this model from any previous Epiphone Les Paul. The DAPS (Dual-Axis Pickup Stabilization) system anchors each Fishman Fluence pickup into a precision-machined pocket with stabilizing wings, eliminating traditional pickup rings and keeping the sculpted body's lines clean. The through-body Frequensator-inspired tailpiece, adapted from Epiphone's 1930s design, balances string tension across the bridge for articulate lows and effortless bending.

Body Construction — Lightweight, Contoured, and Stage-Ready

Mahogany body construction is paired with a maple cap and flame maple veneer, then routed with Ultra Modern weight relief for long-set comfort. A Modern Contoured Heel improves upper-fret access, while a belly comfort carve on the rear brings the guitar closer to the player during extended sessions.

• Body Material: Mahogany — warm, resonant core tone
• Top Material: Flame Maple Veneer over Maple cap — visual depth and added snap
• Finish: Satin — smooth feel under stage lights

Neck and Fingerboard — Built for Speed and Stability

The thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for stability and carved to Epiphone's HyperGlide profile — a slim D shape comfortable through barre chords and fast lead runs. The 648 mm (25.5") scale adds string tension, keeping heavier gauges taut in drop tunings. A bound ebony fingerboard with a 254-356 mm (10"-14") compound radius transitions from rounder at the nut to flatter near the body.

• Neck Material: 1-Piece Thermally Aged Maple with graphite reinforcement
• Fingerboard: Ebony with black mother-of-pearl block inlays and 24 stainless steel frets
• Scale Length: 648 mm (25.5") — ideal for drop tunings
• Fingerboard Radius: 254-356 mm (10"-14") compound
• Nut: GraphTech, 43 mm width — precise string spacing

Electronics and Hardware — Fishman Fluence Versatility

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence active humbuckers deliver three tonal voices from a single pair of pickups: modern high-output active humbucker tones, vintage PAF-inspired humbucker character, and an optimized single-coil-inspired clarity. Push-pull volume controls handle coil splits, push-pull tone controls select voicing, and a 3-way toggle chooses the pickup combination.

• Pickups: Fishman Fluence HH active humbuckers — three voices plus coil splits
• Bridge: LockTone Modern Tune-O-Matic with roller saddles
• Tailpiece: String-through-body Frequensator-inspired design
• Tuning Machines: Grover Locking Rotomatic with kidney buttons
• Case: Protector Ultralite hardshell case included

Who Is the Prophecy Les Paul For?

The Prophecy Les Paul Forest Phantom Satin is the right choice for guitarists who want Les Paul character but need modern performance features for high-gain genres and drop tunings. Metal, hard rock, progressive, and modern fusion players will appreciate the Fishman Fluence active pickups' tight low end under heavy distortion, while coil-split voices open up cleaner tones for recording and rhythm work. The thermally aged maple neck and compound-radius ebony fingerboard suit fast lead playing, complex chord voicings, and extended-range techniques alike.

The Epiphone Prophecy Series — Heritage Reforged for Modern Players

The Prophecy series represents Epiphone's boldest vision for performance-based guitar design, re-engineering Gibson's most iconic silhouettes from the ground up rather than simply applying new finishes to existing models. Every Prophecy model starts with a 648 mm scale length, a graphite-reinforced HyperGlide neck, a compound-radius ebony fingerboard, stainless steel frets, and custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups. Inspired by heritage but built for the demands of today's players, the series lays the foundation for the next generation of Epiphone performance guitars.
