RCF NX 985-A Diffusore Attivo

The NX 985-A is a three-way active loudspeaker designed from the ground up to deliver maximum audio performance for bands, DJs, clubs, and rental companies. The combination of premium RCF components and a 2,100 W (200+500+1400 W peak) Class-D amplifier—along with a sophisticated waveguide—ensures consistent, phase-coherent audience coverage with a 100° x 60° dispersion pattern, free from distortion and capable of a maximum SPL of up to 138 dB. The speaker is equipped with a 1" neodymium compression driver on a constant-directivity horn, an 8" cone midrange driver with a phase plug, and a 15" high-excursion woofer. Its class-leading amplifier delivers extreme sound pressure levels using only passive cooling while maintaining minimal weight.

The NX 985-A can be used as a standalone unit, mounted on a stand, or suspended—either alone or in combination with another NX 985-A or an RCF SUB 8008-AS subwoofer. It delivers extreme, reliable performance across the entire frequency range. The rugged, high-quality plywood cabinet is tour-ready and easy to transport and install thanks to built-in mounting points.
