MB Davids2Bus is a virtual mix bus processor from Metric Halo and Make Believe Studios, built around engineer David Gnozzi's signature analog 2Bus chain. The plugin models his combination of tape saturation, transformers, and stereo processing in a simple interface. Designed as the first insert on the mix bus, it adds heft, definition, and space.

What Makes This Plugin Stand Out

Rather than emulating one piece of hardware, the plugin captures a whole chain of analog processors tuned by ear to work together. The Drive (parallel tape saturation with a Blend control), Texture and Width sections each have their own on/off switch, and a 3D/Phase stage adds further stereo manipulation. Texture offers two transformer circuits, each with ten signal-path models: A tends to beef up the low end, reminiscent of a tape head bump, while B pushes the high end.
