Kae Tempest è un'acclamata artista di spoken word in inglese, poetessa, musicista, scrittrice e drammaturga. Ex studentessa della BRIT School, Tempest è salita alla ribalta dopo aver vinto il Ted Hughes Award nel 2013 per "Brand New Ancients". I suoi album "Everybody Down" e "Let Them Eat Chaos" hanno ottenuto nomination al Mercury Prize, mentre il suo romanzo "The Bricks That Built the Houses" è diventato un bestseller del Sunday Times.
