Trilaminar Fabric Construction and On-Stage Usability

What separates this cover from generic padded bags is the trilaminar fabric stack: a durable polyester outer shell, an inner PVC coat for moisture and abrasion resistance, and a cushion layer that absorbs impact during truck transit. Yamaha engineered the cover so the cabinet can actually perform with it on — the front mesh keeps the driver grille acoustically transparent and vents amplifier heat, while the rear roof flap lifts to expose the back panel for cabling and DSP access.

Compatibility — Which Subwoofers It Fits

Correct cabinet fit is the single most important factor when buying a subwoofer cover, and the manufacturer publishes the exact compatible list so there is no guesswork. This model is cut for the 15-inch models in the XLF generation only; it is not intended for the older DXS15 mkII, DXS15 or DXR/DBR/CBR series.
